SENIOR PASTORS
Paul and Sara Jukes have served as Senior Pastors at Breathe since February 2014 but have been part of the church’s journey for more than 10 years. Paul comes from a background in education and Sara has previously worked in education with special needs children. They are born and bred Stokies and Paul is a big Stoke City fan! They have two daughters Grace and Olivia and love family time. Both are passionately in love with God and together are committed to building and equipping a strong body of God’s people who are free and effective.
Working alongside Paul and Sara is the Core Team also a wider group of leaders who oversee different areas of the church.
They are a great team of people who are passionate about local church, the city and people.

| Prayer and Fasting Prayer and Fasting Dec 1 all-day  Over the course of the year, we’ll be praying and fasting for a total of 30 days. Our Cafe will be open on Tuesdays from 9:30am – 12:00pm, providing a space for anyone to come and relax, chat, and enjoy. We’ll be serving toast, crumpets, tea cakes, cheese oatcakes as well as a selection of tea, coffee, and specialty hot drinks. The playgroup is free and open to parents babies and toddlers, there is a great selection of toys to play with and complimentary refreshments are provided. Breathe Youth: Grow Night 7:00 pm Breathe Youth: Grow Night Dec 3 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm  On selected Wednesdays throughout the term, Breathe Youth run Grow Nights from 7:00-8:30pm for those in years 7 to 12. These are opportunities to explore Christianity further in a smaller group and to explore things like prayer, worship and discipleship. You’ll find all of the dates for Grow Nights for 2025 here: 15th Jan 5th Feb 5th and 19th March 2nd[...] | Young at Heart (ages 50+) 10:00 am Young at Heart (ages 50+) @ Breathe New Life Church, Cafe Dec 4 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm  Young at Heart offers a range of services to combat social isolation faced by older people in and around North Staffordshire. The group is always welcoming new people and meets on alternate Thursdays from 10:00 – 12:30pm. Their Programme of Events include bingo, quizzes, live music, informative talks from local guests and seasonal parties, e.g. Christmas. Rehearsal (Music & Tech) 7:30 pm Rehearsal (Music & Tech) Dec 4 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm  Two or three times a month, we have rehearsals for all of our Musicians and Tech Team on Thursday nights from 7:30pm. It’s a Christmas Party with a fun twist for children aged 3 to 11 years. The event consist of plenty of games, crafts and inspiration from our team! | Christmas Day Service 10:00 am Christmas Day Service @ Breathe New Life Church Dec 25 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am  Join us on Christmas Day at 10:00-11:00am for our a family-friendly service. Kids (and big kids!) can bring their new toys and show them off on stage during the service which is always a special moment.
