In this message, Sara Jukes takes us on a step-by-step journey of discipleship through Jesus’ Beatitudes in Matthew 5. The first 4 Beatitudes are about humbling ourselves and seeking God, whereas the remaining Beatitudes are to bring a change of direction to bring us closer to God. The final step is to be glad about persecution, so much so that Jesus says that God blesses those who are persecuted twice! If we allow ourselves to go on this journey, we will break free from the chains that hold us back from living a blessed and happy life.
