What if the ordinary parts of your life could be transformed into something extraordinary? Jesus took ordinary water and transformed it into the best wine at the wedding in Cana (John 2:1-11). This transformation was birthed out of the obedience of the wedding servants who were instructed to follow Jesus’ instructions. Jesus’ kindness in saving the family from the shame of running out of wine, amplified the transformation. The transformation was abundant. Jesus didn’t just provide enough, the amount of wine was extravagant. Similarly, the Great commission (Matthew 28) requires us to breathe new life, obedience, care and also abundance.
