Living with Hope

As part of our focus on the Persecuted Church, Ben shared a message about living with hope, even in the face of persecution, suffering and troubles. In Paul’s second letter to the church in Corinth, he writes, “our light and momentary troubles” which are, “achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Corinthians 4:17). Our suffering and the suffering of the persecuted church in general, is light and temporary in comparison to the weight and length of eternal glory that we are to receive in the future, and our suffering has deep meaning and rich purpose beyond what we can see on the surface.
