Using the example of Philip the Evangelist in Acts chapter 8, Ben shares 3 things we need in order to be fruitful in our everyday evangelism to our Jerusalem, our Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). The first – a technique employed by Pastor Andy Elmes in his Soul Winner book – is to lead with a question. Philip used a question to initiate the conversation and was then invited into the Ethiopian Eunuch’s chariot to share the gospel. The third key point is to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us as we seek out people to share the Gospel with. Each day, ask God to lead you to the right people and places as you witness and share the Gospel.
