Fruitfulness in our Past, Present and Future

During our Mother’s Day service, Sara Jukes shared about being fruitful in our past, present and our future. The genealogy in Matthew 1 is proof that our past does not define us. Some of the women mentioned in the bloodline of Jesus had very colourful pasts and yet they were accepted, loved and grafted into the line of Jesus. In Luke 10, Martha was distracted as her sister sat at the feet ofJesus yet is was Jesus who was relaxed and never in a hurry. We too can relax in our present circumstances, underneath his everlasting arms. In fact, like the woman in Proverbs 31, we can be so confident of our future in Christ, we can laugh at the days to come and face tomorrow with a smile.
