The women at the tomb were looking for a crucified Jesus, whereas God revealed a risen Jesus!
How will we respond when we encounter the risen Jesus? Will we run away in fear or stay silent like the women in the text? The final question that the passage addresses is who will roll away the stone? Jesus was the only one who could! He was the only one who could turn our hopeless end into an endless hope!
