The Fruit of the Spirit

During our summer preaching series on the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), Imogen shares about The Power of Self Control and Baz shares about Faithfulness.

Imogen makes the point that self control is rooted in the power of the Holy Spirit and in our relationship with God. Secondly, self-control provides protection for us in the form of healthy boundaries. Finally, there is great power in our words, therefore self-control helps us to take care with every syllable.

In Hebrews 11, we read of a great Hall of Fame of people of faith. In his message Baz asks, what does it take to make the list? Abel was generous, Noah was obedient. Abraham obeyed even when he did not understand, and Sara believed the truth over fact.
