Fill Your Mind

On Mothering Sunday 2026, Sara Jukes continued our Fulfilment series about heart, head, hands and huddle. In this message, Sara focused on the head and challenged us to fill our mind with Jesus. Negative thoughts inevitably come to us all, therefore, it is vitally important that we remember who we are by practicing mindfulness and gratitude, recognising and identifying what we are thinking about. Secondly, we need to take our thoughts captive (2 Corinthians 10:5) and make them obedient to Christ and His word. We can do this by meditating on His word in the Bible; however, memorising and quoting scripture is not enough. We need to put off our old self and put on a new mindset (Ephesians 4:22-24), filling our mind with Jesus.
