How to … Be a City on a Hill

In Matthew 5, Jesus refers to three metaphors to describe the Kingdom of God and what His followers should be like. Like the Salt of the Earth, we are to do the unseen, invisible things that no one else but God sees, in order to get rooted in Him. Secondly, like Jesus, we are to be the Light of the World, reflecting the light of Jesus to others. Thirdly, we are to be like a City on a Hill that cannot be hidden. We are to let our good deeds shine for all to see, so that everyone will give glory to God.
