Carrying the Fire

It can be very easy for our light to grow dim and for the fire in our heart to grow cold; therefore, Senior Pastor Paul Jukes shares a message titled, ‘Carrying the Fire.’ Using three appeals or exhortations mentioned by the writer in Hebrews chapter 10, verses 19 to 25, Paul encourages us to keep the fire burning. The first exhortation is to let us draw near to God – the fire-starter – with a sincere heart, in full assurance and with commitment and loyalty much like that which He shows to us. Secondly, let us hold unswervingly to the teaching of Jesus which does not change and also to the hope that we have in Him. Finally, let us encourage one another to help keep other people’s fire burning, much like we would wish for others to keep ours burning too!
